Michele Martin
I spent most of my career helping workers at the UAW, where I gained invaluable experience negotiating contracts and, eventually, running the union's communications department, including managing its social media and print marketing campaigns, websites, and other communication tools. I worked along side of, and retired with, UAW president Bob King. I represented workers in legal proceedings at the National Labor Relations Board and worked tirelessly to uphold the law and help promote fairness and equity. I have a bachelor's degree in Employment and Labor Relations from Wayne State University and graduated magna cum laude. Since leaving the UAW, I bought an investment property in Mexico, www.villamariposas.com, spent months living in Mexico designing and managing its top-to-bottom renovation, and am the elected President of the Homeowners Association there. Villa Mariposas is now a successful vacation rental, welcoming people from all over the world to beautiful Puerta Vallarta. I also owned and managed, for ten years, another rental property in Grosse Pointe Park that I sold in 2019. Most recently, I turned my passion for real estate into a profession. I am happy to a be a part of the Coldwell Banker team. I will work hard and use my skills and experience to represent buyers and sellers honestly and fairly. Buying or selling a home is an adventure. I would love to guide you on that journey. If you or anyone you know is interested in buying or selling a home, or simply has questions about real estate, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. Though I am licensed in Michigan, Keller Williams is an international brokerage and I can assist in finding agents anywhere through my network.
